Collins|I liked most of the essays in this book, especially the one detailing the fourteenth century trade between China and Singapore and explaining the widening and deepening bilateral trade including non elite products such as foodstuffs and drink in sealed containers and lower quality pottery. All of this trade suddenly stopped, forcing south east Asia
