It's informative, funny and very easy to read. I learned a lot about Taiwan, its complex history, customs and what it's like to be an American expat living in that country.
I loved the section about food and the author's willingness to|About the Author|Chris Banducci is a pastor and missionary in Taiwan. He has, at other times of his life, been a white-water rafter, rock climber and adventurer. Twenty-six years of living with Muscular Dystrophy may have weakened his muscles but not his spirit.

This book is an interesting view of day-to-day living in Taiwan. You will see the history, culture, and people in Taiwan through the keen eye of someone who's trying to adjust to a new culture, new language and new lifestyle in one of the most interesting countries in the world.
